I get one good meal next month in Manhattan and I have it narrowed down to these two. Any opinions?

Anything by Bouley can't be beat. Daniel, too stuck up.

Go to Daniel. I had a horrible experience at Bouley. Rushed service, food coming out of the kitchen way too fast. We were in and out of the place in 1 hour. When we asked the staff to slow it down, our food came out lukewarm at best.

I can't think of 1 bad thing to say about Daniel. I go to Cafe Boulud a lot as well.

Look into La Grenouille. That is my absolute favorite French in Manhattan. We were there just last week for lunch and I can still taste my pea soup and smell my dover sole!!

Bon appettit!
