I want to have a birthday party in a restaurant. About 40 people, in Brooklyn NY. The restaurant has to have a dance floor and music. Any idea how much it would be? And how far in advance do i have to order it?

I haven't had a b-day part since I was 6 years old. I'm turning 18 in 2 weeks.

They may not charge you at all for going in, your bringing them 40 guests that are bound to spend money there. They may however not be able to accommodate you on any night you want. They may want you to go on a night when they aren't too busy because although your 40 people, taking up all that space for a long time, you would cost the restaurant money on a very busy night. Call the place you want and talk to the manager, the sooner they know your coming the better, they can make sure they have enough staff on and any other arrangements that may need to be made.

If you could guarantee a minimum number of persons, you could likely rent a spot for a hundred bucks. They will make enough off of the booze sales.
