....delivering food? That would get them some business back.
We have a Denny's up the street that just lost its smoking section in May--they have lost so much money--and have needed to lay off many employees. Would a local delivery service help them regain money, and get some of the employees re-hired?

This sounds like nonsese to me, but I just read it at: http://bayareaopinions.blogspot.com/
"Notably, servers pay 8% tip tax for each table they serve, whether they receive a tip or not. So any tip less than 8% really costs then money to wait on your table!"
I've heard of "income tax", but not "table tax"....hahaha!!! is this guy kidding?

Just wondering because we're never sure. I mean all they really do is take away dishes and bring you drinks which you could do yourself

I went to a restaurant one time in Virginia. a fancy little place right on the side of the mountain, a bunch of old retired rich guys. well right when we walked in we got funny looks. we told the man we had a reservation and he just sized us from head to toe leaned in close and said "we dont serve your kind" MY KIND?!! man how i wanted to pop him right in the mouth!!!! but my grandfather (celebrating his retirement) just handed the man 100 bucks and told him to seat us. reluctantly the man obliged. Once seated we were stared at the whole time!! Well they had a wine cart going around and my grandfather ordered Cabernet Sauvignon....$482.00!!! I guess that bought some respect because once he did no one continued to stare or rather glare at us. Has the world come to the point where you have to literally buy respect?

I'm thinking of opening up a restaurant. In the morning it would be a bakery with muffins and coffee cake and pastries and donuts and bagels and coffee, in the afternoon it would be a lunch place with sandwiches and soups, paninis, wraps, burritos, pizza slices, and some entrees, and later in the day we would have more entrees plus prepared food that people could take home to heat up for dinner. Do you like the idea and any suggestions?

I always order eggs over hard, and about 10% of the time the waitress brings them scrambled or runny. What is the right way to tell the waitress the order is not correct, or should I just ignore it?

I ask yahoo answer how i should tip and most of you guys said 15%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If i bought a meal for $100 I should tip $15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All they do is bring food PEOPLE!!! You do not pay someone $15 just to pay food. It's they're JOB they don't even need to get TIP. You guys are crazy if you think 15% tip is normal. I think 5%-8% tip is good.

My idiot cousin told me about how Domino's use fake cheese on their pizza. He overhearda conversation from of his mom and her friend. I'm guessing the cheese isn't 100% real cheese and instead using artificial cheese. However, why an idiot cousin assume and believe that Domino's pizza contains "fake" cheese when the box says they're using 100% real cheese. I just need a clarification here that my cousin is more of an idiot.
