I have, many times. I'm usually out shopping by myself and want a drink and a bite to eat so I sit at the bar. I usually read a book or magazine I just bought. I've only got hit on once. I just ignore everyone else.

No I never sat at the bar by myself but I did eat at a restaurant there alone.I felt fine,I was hungry and I didn't care what people think about it.
