Bear with me on this...

The pronunciation of the slogan is

"mmm mmm mmmm mmmm mmmmm ... Toasty!"

If every syllable is relegated to simply ONE letter, there should be FIVE m's in it, don't you agree? At least, it ought to be, based on the way the announcer says it.

Yet, there are only FOUR m's in the way it's printed. It can't possibly be pronounced the way it's spelled, the way the announcers are saying it.

Does this bother anyone else, or is it just me?

I went to a restaurant an hour before closing time, and our server was a young guy that was very sloppy in my opinion. he'd answer "sup?" to everything, and would forget what we'd order as well. so, consequently, I didn't leave a tip, after about 10 minutes, he ran out and followed us to give us back our 10 cent change, saying that he didnt' want it, and yelled about how rude were, and how we shouldn't even eat out if we werent' gonna tip. later, I went and confronted the manager who was as clueless as the server. Is it just me, or was this server/manager completely out of line?

and just for the record, this was TGIF at Waikiki in Honolulu, just in case any of you plan on visiting Hawaii sometime.

So yesterday i visited the old spaghetti factory in Denver. Well we waited 15 mins to get seated and this guy brought us cheese bread we didn't order we thought it was the normal bread so we ate it. Then in another 15 mins are waitress can to get are order well my sister is older then 12 and wanted a kids meal and so she said she couldn't do it and we were like okay thats fine we don't want you to get in trouble, so we gave her are order. Then we had to wait another 20mins for are drinks and the lady brings us are salads at the same time and throws it front of us and then tells us were lucky we don't have to pay for the damn cheese bread. So were like can we talk to your manager? While shes getting her manager my sister fines a huge hair in her salad! So we tell the manager and hes like it's cause you couldn't order off the kids meal isn't it? We were like no its how rude she was and the hair in the salad. Then he laughs at us and tells us he'll pay for her meal so we left

if you ordered 'Volvic" in an American restaurant it means the water has taken a ship to get to you and thatt leaves a carbon footprint to big just for a glass of water.
I guess they have a point, would you order tapwater in a restaurant for the sake of being greener ?
Do you care that you beer flew from Japan on a freight plane just to get to your table.?

I love KFC.
I know how to cook a good tasty chicken but still, I crave KFC about once a month, their chicken and their cole slaw is out of this world.

Still, I'm smart and I know it's not healthy food (I do not use fat to cook my chicken, but they do), even if I never eat the skin, so I just indulge once a month or so, .

Their ad on TV, the 0 grams of trans fat, is bothering me because stupid fat people will think it is therefore healthy food...when in fact it's just 0 grams of trans fat but plenty of other fat that will make you fatter....

Very often, fat people are just people who are not educated enough about nutrition, exercise and the human body so they could be harmed by the "0 grams of trans fat" ad.

I'm pretty sure the trans fat will soon be illegal in the USA (as it's already it in Europe and a lot of USA restaurants) so KFC is just eliminating it because it will soon be illegal.

They should tell their customer about the other fat contents and high calories

I hope those of you who do realize that you're just revealing beforehand that you're too cheap to order a double and probably won't tip much even if it is a heavy pour. Hint: order a double, tip well, and you will see returns on subsequent rounds.

I eat a lot at fast food places and I've noticed that I get frequent food poisonings lately. In about 50% cases of eating there I get a diarreah the next day. In about 5% I throw up, have temperature and cannot eat anything for a few days - stomach flue? And it is the same for fast food and upscale restaurants. The only places I dont get a food poisoning is in my company's cafeteria (that has mostly fast food) and the best restaurants in Seattle, where I live?
