I'm in Houston and live about five blocks away from the Goode Company on Kirby. You're right, but everything Jim Goode makes is so good. I also like Fuddruckers.

In the city of Napa, it's Annie's. It's a tiny shack connected to a carwash, but always gets the best reviews. Now if you expand to all of Napa Valley, then it's Taylor's Refresher in St. Helena. They even make national reviews.

Tough one...depends on your price range and mood. From Southern California I would say my favorites are Mo's, Rock Bottom, Fuddruckers, and In and Out.

Rally burgers.... They taste like in and out, but better. They also have a much better menu than them.

If you have a Culver's in your area, DEFINITELY try it. Have a butterburger and a frozen custard...if you're not scared of hardening your arteries!
