Looking for something off the beaten path that locals love. We've done the "tourist" places in the past. Italian, steak, what's the best place in Manhattan?

I have to schedule a business lunch introduction and meeting for three people. Two are from out of state and one works at 52 Chambers Street (Dept of Education). The two from out of state are taking the third to lunch to try to interest her in supporting our business. Where would be convenient and quiet enough? It doesn't need to be cheap, but we are a relatively small non-profit so it shouldn't be outlandish. I want to make reservations.

I'm looking for a nice 1 bedroom studio/apartment/loft near public transportation and within walking distance to bars, restaurants, anything exciting. I'm hoping to find more of a young singles atmosphere that could be close to a college, but must be a safe place to live. Any suggestions??? Thanks so much for the help!

I work at a fast food resturant, and my GM is so dumb. We have no one to work, and she will not hire anyone. The office is full of applications as well.

I was watching an old Saved by the Bell episode with my husband yesterday (I know, we're losers). It was the one where they stay at this Murder Mystery hotel. We thought it would be fun to do with friends (something different). ANyone heard of this in Canada?

I'm looking for a good restaurant in Healdsburg, something maybe sort of classy, ranging from $15-20/plate. Do you have any good suggestions? It's for a gift certificate for my parents for Christmas.
Thanks!

I was eating at Macaroni Grill, and if you been there, they put out little plates with Extra Virgin Olive Oil sprinkled with pepper. Well I was dipping my bread and ate that piece. I was going to dip that same piece of bread in one more time (without even realizing I was doing it), then all of sudden my bf was like, "Are you double dipping!" OMG! talk about embarrassing! Ruined the whole evening, and I was mad at him the rest of the night. I know its not polite to double dip, but don't call me out in front of your family!

I'm looking to buy my in-laws a gift certificate for a nice place in New york City where they can have a nice dinner and do some dancing. My in-laws are in their 50's. The type of music should not be salsa or swing. I need a place where people in their 50's will really enjoy themsleves with good food, good music, and a fun atmosphere. Thanks.
