I have to schedule a business lunch introduction and meeting for three people. Two are from out of state and one works at 52 Chambers Street (Dept of Education). The two from out of state are taking the third to lunch to try to interest her in supporting our business. Where would be convenient and quiet enough? It doesn't need to be cheap, but we are a relatively small non-profit so it shouldn't be outlandish. I want to make reservations.

Several restaurants (within walking distance or one or two subway stops)

The Tribeca Grill on Greenwich and Franklin Street - the service is good, the food is excellent and they serve 3-course prix fixe lunch for about $25 (certainly, you can order a la carte as well)

Capsuto Frere on Washington and Watts Street - this place is lovely, the food is excellent. It's downtown, but it's out of the way and not that easy to find (trains: #1 or A,C, or E) fast cab ride - wonderful place to make one feel very "agreeable". They have a 3-course lunch for about $25. Look at their lunch menu:

Even closer is the Duane Park Cafe on West Broadway and Hudson Street - the food is very good; you definitely need a reservation for lunch:

British 19 - have you ever even been to New York? All your restaurant suggestions are on the other end of Manhattan! I'm sure the poster can google even better than you can. What a waste of space!
