I was just given an old tv for my home office. I know that its a Zenith, it has a AFC button and antenna. UF channel 2-13 knobs and then channel 14-83 knobs. This is a little before my time so any help would be great. If you could tell me how to get more than just my local PBS channel that would be great too. I also don't know what any of the letters stand for, if anyone could point me to a website or tell me how to work it that would be a great help!!

different reviews and ratings on different brands and if you ask me it looks like your taking your chances no matter what brand you buy because one person will say a certain brand is no good then the next person will say its the best anyway the reason i am asking about the LG brand is because our local audio and video store sells nothing but LG lcd and plasma

Hi I have a 27" Lexsor LCD TV and the picture is fine most of the time but if the camera pans across the screen or say if a car is moving across the screen or end credits to a programme are moving up the screen or news ticker is scrolling across the bottom of the screen well instead of all being smooth as it looks on a conventional CRT screen on my LCD TV it all jerks along not smoothly - its quite annoying.
I have tried adjusting all settings but nothing works and I have seen another one of the same make on show in the electrical store and it does the same thing so its not just a fault on my set so I wonder what causes this does anyone know?
Thanks,
Andy.

Some of the Sharp Aquos LCD's are known to exhibit some screen banding. If you have a set that doesn't have it initially, is it something that can eventually develop on your screen?

In 2009, analog tv will be no more and all analog tvs will have to have a converter box in order to get programs. and the 'rabbit ears' will no longer work and you'll have to have a built in digital tuner in the tv to get over-the-air ways signals. So, if you don't have a digital tv, when do you plan on getting one or will you invest in a converter box? and will the price of digital tv rise after 2009?

When I'm on input 1 and input 2 I can toggle through the different aspect ratios on my plasma TV, but on Input 3, which is the input set to my TV, I'm stuck with "full" aspect ratio and can't change it. Does anybody know why? Or what I'm doing wrong?

Hello everyone,
I was attempting to move my TV by myself, and I forgot to unplug the cable from the back. To make a long story short, I pulled the cable outlet from the back of the tv. It pulled completely out. So, now there is no where to hook the cable into the back of my tv. My tv has the red, yellow, and white outlets, but not the composition ones or whatever. My tv is only about 1.5 years old, but it is not worth the $80 to just have someone look at it. Does anyone know what I can do?

The FCC has decided that a good, working TV will be obsolete, and we all have to buy new sets. Ok...I may be in the minority, but I don't care much for super life like images...I'd rather go into real life and see it.

For those who do want an ultra crisp picture, let them get that new set, but don't force the rest of us to.

I compare this to radio. I've had very old radios that still would work today using today's signals. There co-exists satellite radio on another bandwidth for higher quality programs, that those ppl who want it can pay for.

Again, why, are we being forced to buy a new TV set, if what we have isn't broken, and if the individual doesn't want a newer TV.

I smell a rat here, and wanna know what's REALLY going on.

I keep hearing bits and pieces about the government not carrying the analog signal in February 2008..and that unless you have an...LSD (??) TV...that your tv is no longer going to work - or you will have to get a converter??

Does anyone know anything about this? It may not be lsd signal - I can't remember what the new one is.
