a few people have said ,that they have had problems, i am thinking of buying one, and would like to know if anyone has had any trouble with pixcels or anything else.

It depends entirely on the manufacturer.

If you buy something cheap and nasty, you will have problems. If you buy something decent, you won't.

The short answer is horses for courses, I believe in you get what you pay for and research on line doesn`t hurt most major companies make a budget range but their name wont be plastered all over it but the parts inside will be of tried and tested and good quality but you are not paying for the advertising they splash out on branded ones but be aware the customer service may be done by an european company and may not be as good as main supplier but if are as good quality you hopefully should`nt need to contact them every 5 minutes they have to keep costs down somewhere

my 42" shape lcd tv is fine " sharp aquos full hd " argos £899 and i paid £1500 "its great with the ps3

Your bank balance is what will suffer most. Do you really need to go into debt to buy this gadget? What's wrong with the TV you already have?
