i recently purchased an hdtv television and until recently i had 5 plugins for the cable. now i have one cable called HDMI but now all my channels except soem hd channels are not full screen. why?

I am surprising my husband with a flat screen tv soon and I wanted to have it installed over the fireplace. But is that safe for the tv? Will the heat radiate through the brick and sheet rock that is over the brick and affect the tv and wiring? Thanks in advacnce

I'm trying to setup an option to have a group of people watch a season opening sporting event at a location that does not have any cable, satellite or antennae available. Is there a temporary way to recieve a signal with high enough quality to really enjoy the picture on a digital projector at a large screen size?

The screen recently started pulsing on the left and right side whenever it was turned on. It happens when just the regular television is on, and DVDs & video games. It's quite annoying when you watching something. The TV is less than 5 years old and is not a flat screen. It's 32" and is an RCA.

I have a regular tv(uhf) not hd, and I want to put up an outside antenna. Circuit city has an antenna called the Terk Outdoor uhf hdtv compatible. With it would I be able to pick uhf channels in my area? All stations are withing 30 miles.
