I have an APEX tv that is about two years old, and from day one, whenever there is a ticker at the bottom of screen, it is cut in half. Whenever there is a letterbox movie on, there is more black at the top then at the bottom. Is there a dial or something I can adjust within the tv that will raise the picture?

Hi,

I have a Toshiba 43A9UM, for the past few days it shows no picture; the screen is completely blank(black) and there is no sound.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

I'm looking to buy and HDTV, I have been looking at Plasmas, LCD's and DLP's. I was going for an LCD but then I saw the DLP's next to the LCDS and Plasmas and saw a much sharper pic and lower price. What I'm asking is "should I purchase a DLP?" I need some advice from someone that knows DLP's or from someone that is very familiar with all 3 options. Which is the better buy? :)

My cable box broke and we had to call comcast to fix it. They came when i was at work so I told my son to let them in. When I got home the comcast van was there and when i came in there was this filthy black man naked on the couch with my son putting his clothes on. I told him to get the hell out of my house ( I said it much meaner ) and my son hasn't talked to me or come out of his room since. Should I take legal action against comcast, i didnt get the guys name and calling the police would be too weird. My son is not a minor so I can't do much. Please help.

I had a waterheater overflow in my basement and ruin a 1995 35" Proscan TV. The insurance is telling me that I can buy a new TV for <$350 even though I have replacement cost on my Homeowners policy and todays new 35" TV's are plasma or LCD and >$1500.
Is there a website where I can go to document the replacement value of the TV
