The most expensive is the Samsung HP-R8082 which is a 80" prototype HDTV plasma. The price of it is $150,000, but this was going to include a whole home theater system, which consist of the 80 set, the TV stand, a rack cabinet stand to place the TV and the components, 6-tall speakers, 2-center speakers and 2-subwoofers., a 10.1 surround A/V receiver, and a Blu-Ray Disc player.

This HDTV is NOT available for sale, Samsung has been promising it will offer it for sale since it's debut in the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in 2004. You can view the latest "Where to buy? Coming Soon" story here: http://www.abtelectronics.com/scripts/site/site_product.php3?id=22261 Now it seems Samsung has dropped all the extra accessories mentioned and are just promising {again} to sell the HDTV for $150K.

The more real and biggest HDTV you can get is the newly introduce Panasonic Viera TH-103PZ600U which is the current world's largest plasma set at a 103-inches. The cost for it is $69,999.95 and custom installation is required due to it's massive weight. You can start pre-ordering this model in September from any high-end audio and video showroom.

Well, if you use a front projector as your TV, it would be the Runco SC-1 Home Digital Cinema Projector. The base cost and basic lens is a cool $250k. Nothing else included.... but you do get an autograph from the owner, Sam Runco.
