An indoor antenna does give you free TV with the very basic channels with poor picture quality and sound, this technology was good back in the 60's and 70's. Today we're entering the HD technology that makes you're tv set look like a window! But still the most popular now is digital cable or satellite dish that provides a DVD quality picture and sound. HDTV gives you picture quality just like you where there! The 3D quality is so impressive that you could almost put your hand through the picture! NFL, MLB and NHL HD broadcast are simply unbelieveble!
But seriously, forget about rabbiters, you need at least, the very minimum required for TV broadcast, analog cable and it still suck with twice mono sound and grainy picture.
