For quite some time CRT TVs have included automatic degaussing, which activates the degausser each time the set is turned on. If you have a color purity problem, additional operation of the internal degausser is not likely to help. You would need to get one of the old degaussing coils, move it around the set, to get to the source of the magnetic field.

Hardly none of the TV's sold have an actual button for Degause, it will usually be in the video menu where you find color/brightness/contrast, etc.

If your TV needs to be degaussed , it will have to be done by a repairman.

tvs dont have them.. only crt moniters and lcd moniters have them.
