After a loud crack of thunder and a strike of lightning filled the sky the other night my TV went bright white and shut off-(For Good) It wouldn't turn on at all. It was on a surge protector strip along with the DVD, VCR, PS2 and stereo. All of these items are connected. And the cable from the wall runs to VCR. So how did just the TV get hit. This is actually the second time the same thing has happened to us. So I want to know how this is possible. All the other components work fine.

ok there is this movie with this funny guys that comes from a big city and has to go to this farm and he likes this girl who already has a guy but she dose not like this guy. and he has hard time working at this farm and he has rode a tractor through a fence and took the big crop machine and ran it though the crop of corn and rote his name and the plane saw it. and at the end he fell asleep in the barn with the lady he saw at the party he went to and the one girl he liked was amd at him but then they loved each other at the end again and i think they married each other... help me pls

I ordered a big screen TV through BestBuy.com.. It came with a free 15 inch LCD tv, value 299 dollars.. After a month, I got an e-mail that I would not get the free tv due to them not being able to get the tv to me in a timely manner.. I called Bestbuy and told them I was patient and could wait.. Nothing.. I told them I would take the free offer they had this week.. Nothing.. They told me there was nothing they could do, I was out of a free tv.. I told them they could come and pick up th big screen tv I bought (and already paid in full).. They asked why.. Anyone else had problems with them before. I have been going to Bestbuy for about 8 years, NO MORE.. (Sorry, have to vent my angers)

After about an hour of use it shuts it's self off, and the only way to turn it back on is to un plug the unit from the outlet, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. It will fire right back up, but do it all again in about an hour. Does anybody know what can be wrong? Am I doing further damage by continuing to use the TV while this problem persists? If this has happened to you, please share with me anything you have found out. Thanks in advance!
