As the first answerer pointed out, they don't make LCD HDTVs in that size - only plasma. But as for your question on price, yes, they are expected to go down considerably. Just yesterday there was a report on the news detailing how much LCD screen had come down in price from just a year ago. As the market becomes more saturated, retailers will lower their prices to compete for the rest of the market.

Just keep a log of the prices per inch over the next 6 months and you'll see it happen.

Prices are always lower next year in the TV business, They are even lower the year after that. And lower the next year, or something better is available. By that reasoning, you will never buy anything electronic. Right now 50" flat-panel LCD are rare and expensive. In a couple of years they will be common, and at an affordable price. Do you really want to wait that long? Why not a projector? They will always be less expensive than the panels. Check the sizes--they aren't that big anymore.

Its a good thing I can help. LCD tv's are as big as 65" made buy Sharp. They also make a 57" and a 45". Sony just launched a 45" this year. DLP & LCD Projection are also in this size ranges and they will all get cheaper by next year. I have been in the biz for 20 years and you can take that to the bank!!!!
