Panasonic has a decent reputation within the a/v industry. A couple of questions: what's your budget? How big is your room and how far back will you be sitting? These are some of the considerations in buying a new display device. Also consider an LCD flat panel. Sony makes a decent 40" at around the same price as the Panasonic. LCD units are a little lighter and brighter than plasma so they may be easier to place and see in your room. Good luck and enjoy!

This is the TV my son selected after looking at a lot of sets. It has an excellent picture, and Panasonic has the best reputation in plasma TVs.

almost 2 years old...maximum possibly the flexibility provide or perhaps more effective possibly the Y-Sus board is undesirable...they fail in ALL manufacturers. Panasonic is between the perfect manufacturers accessible... in case you don't love the television, promote it..
