I have a goodmans 28 inch widescreen tv and for about a week it was getting stuck in standby and i had to keep pressing the buttons to get it to come on and after about 40 mins it would come on then on sunday i turned it on and again it was stuck in standby but it would not come on so i turned it off and when i turned it back on it would not come on there is no power at all now i have changed the fuse but nothing so has anyone got any ideas.

I am Planning to Buy a 32 Inch LCD TV. & I have a bevy of choices. I need answers to the Questions to decide which LCD TV to Buy? Is Contrast Ratio of 6000:1 really far superior to a contrast ratio of 1300:1? Does a higher Contrast Ratio make the TV viewing more Pleasurable? What about the different Connectivity Slots? I'll be thankful if I get some honest answers.

I've subscribed to Satellite High Def tv service and I have an Hi Def LCD tv . The satellite tech who came out used ypbpr cable and not the hdmi cable. Will either give me the very good quality w/o noticeable difference. Will HDMI cable be much better for this setup and much better quality? Basically ,I'm asking YPBPR vs. HDMI? Thanks!

What exactly is it? I just bought a 57" TV that is a hdtv. I have direct tv has my sat provider. Direct tv wants 100 dollars for a HDTV receiver and 6 bucks a month. How does HD work exactly and is it worth it? Do local channels offer it on network programming? I think I want to get it, but dont want to waste money if its not that great. I heard football is outstanding on it.

OK heres what I got. A VCR with IN audio and OUT ouputs. I have my xbox 360 plugged into the in jacks and a speaker plugged in to out jacks when I plug the in all i get is a buzzing sound from the speaker...What should I do

I just bought a high end A/V but it is not getting good reception. I bought a signal booster that I plug in and it seems to help. It has BOTH a circle LOOP and two ANTENNA.

Here is my question: Which one (loop or antenna) is for the FM and which do I adjust for UHF or TV signals.

I've recently lost my cable and I'm having a problem retrieving the 3 basic cable channels(NBC, ABC, CBS) from my television. I have an Arista amplified antenna and it doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any antenna that will get the job done? Thanks in advance

My TV started to conk out on me yesterday (go figure) and now today it worse. Yesterday I turned it on and thought maybe my TiVo box was off because I did not see a picture...well I turned the TV off and back on and got a picture...for a few minutes. Did it again and had picture all night just fine. Today I turned it on and the picture kinda scrunches up and then goes away...just gets to be a dark screen after a few minutes. Is this a minor (AKA worth fixing $$) problem or do I just have to kick it to the curb? The TV is only like 8 years old...would have expected a LOT more from a Sony...thanks in advance for helping me.
