My laptop has a vga out, but the Tv has 2xHDMI inputs 2xSCART inputs and a S-video input. If possible what cables would i need and where can i get them cheapest?

it depends on the output of the laptop, which is vga.

If the tv hasn't got a vga input then there is no way of doing it.

If the laptop has a same connection as the tv then yes.

Sorry to give you such bad news.

your laptop should also have a s-video connection. if so then an s-video lead (from Maplins) with deal with your problem. whilst you're at it then also buy a sound lead - one from the headphone jack of the laptop to whatever input yu have on the tv
