I've recently lost my cable and I'm having a problem retrieving the 3 basic cable channels(NBC, ABC, CBS) from my television. I have an Arista amplified antenna and it doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any antenna that will get the job done? Thanks in advance

It may still work with your antenna. If your TV has a menu, look on the menu to see if the signal is still set to cable. If so, switch it to antenna, this will solve your problem. If not, a set of rabbit ears will do the trick.

make sure your tv is not set on cable but on off air or air. this will bring those channels back if not get a simple pair of rabbit ears and place them in a high place but upside down play around for the best picture you might have to move them for different higher freq. channels. good luck

Keep the antenna close to a window and make sure it is earthed.

You did not say how far you are from the antenna. Check with Radio Shack to see what works and what does not in your area.

check www.antennaweb.org if you're trying to get digital signals.

Try and point the antenna in the direction of the broadcast towers.
