Any time I buy something like a mouse for my computer, or a calculator or other small electronic, it's packaged in plastic that is almost impossible to get open. I usually end up having to use a knife and almost always get at least one massive cut on my hand. I can't even imagine what it must be like for senior citizens. Had anyone found a "trick" for removing this kind of packaging??? It's ridiculous and almost has me ready to boycott anything that is packaged in that manner, no matter how badly I need it !!!

I got a Humax PVR-9200T personal video recorder for Christmas and read its capable of storing up to 1000 channels. I was just wondering if there will be extra channels on Freeview after the analogue is turned off. Im not interested in Top Up TV.

A little while ago I added a few songs to my iPod Shuffler (generation 1) and didn't use the autofill because I forgot to check the box. Now, sitting here listening to it, half of my songs are missing. Should I plug it into the USB port and use the autofill?

And after I download a song and transfer it to my iPod, do I have to leave the song on my computer or can I delete it? Maybe that's where I went wrong; I had a few songs on my computer and deleted them once I was done, and now they're missing from my iPod.

Sorry if that's not clear enough. I'm extremely new to iTunes/Ipods.

Seriously- no other store has it, even best buy. every Circuit City I walk into (especially the new ones) has this rancid. B.O-ish tinge to it. Any ideas?

Ok, I've got an Ipod.
The instructions were really slim. I'm afraid I am not getting the fullest use from my little toy.
Is there a site or something like "Ipods for Dummys" I can get?
I've trapped my wife's talk show with no problem, but what else can it do?
Thanks.

I found a DirecTV Dish by the dumpster (yes, I dumpster dive). What can I do with it? If I bought a control box thing and hooked it up, can I pick up a signal without paying for the service?

Thanks! Jeremy

My question is why isn't there a service that lets you watch those movies that are currently at the thearters at your home somehow, like they do in hotels(in-room entertainment-On-Command). Some of there movies haven't even been released on DVD or VHS.

I've been asked to film and edit a performance by a local dramatic society and put it onto DVD; the agreement is they will buy the DVDs for about £10 each. What can I do to stop them being copyable? How can I prevent one person buying the DVD, making fifty copies, and selling or giving them to the other members?

I need to order some electronics components online. In particular capacitors.

I tried ebay and they don't have a very good selection.

Does anyone know of any good USA based online electronics stores that provide online ordering?

Best answer gets the points!!
