Music & Music Players - May 2007

I am using a AMD X2 4600 with 1GB ram and the mobos built on sound. I have a dual monitor setup powered by my ATI X1600 that I use to watch recorded TV through MediaCenter on one screen and play WoW on the other all the time. No problems. I just recently tried to do the same thing but playing the podcast Diggnation through itunes and my resource monitor shows that it pushes my CPU to 100% usage, and it makes Wow really laggy.

My question really is: Why can I watch full screen basically mpeg2 video through MediaCenter and not lag but I can't watch 240X320 podcast through iTunes without WoW sucking?

I know that when you right click on a song on a playlist it gives you the option to move down, or move up. How do i change the order on my iPod or iTunes?

I burn my Cd's using my Windows Player. I'm running Windows Xp, Nero 7, Creative Sound Blaster Platinum hardware and software. All I get is track 1, track 2, track 3, etc.

I just got a sandisk and I want to get music for it, but WHERE??? I know its compatable with like, anything, but what is a good site where I can download stuff, fast, free, and easy. Not anyplace where I have to subscribe or anything.


It would be REALY helpful if you would tell me VERY CLEARLY how to get the music onto it.

I just downloaded about 44 billy joel songs and put them in itunes, then my ipod, now they wont show up on my ipod...
and neither will the collective soul songs i put on there about a week ago.

I've had this ipod for about 4 years... just recently i added a few songs and there is nothing wrong with the files, and they were playing fine for the first week or so, but the other day all the newish songs i have stutter, or stop, tries to play it again, and then eventually moves to the next song.... WHAT IS WRONG?!?!

I bought a cheap MP3 player, but it will only play actual mp3 files, not wav or anything else. I have found free sites that will convert songs, but they only convert 60% of the song. Are there any free sites that will convert my CDs into mp3 files?

My mp3 plays music but I can't hear through left ear (there's nothing wrong with the earphones, I'll tested them). I'm planning on getting an iPod Nano. My friend has once and has advised me against it, saying the battery life for an iPod is really bad. I love my music too much, so a new mp3 or iPod would be ideal. Any suggestions? You know how they have those headphones that go directly inside your ear and cancel out all outside noise, and they have loud bass.
