You know how they have those headphones that go directly inside your ear and cancel out all outside noise, and they have loud bass.

Are those good or bad for your ears?

Yes, noise isolation headphones. They don't harm your ears at all, and they work much better than active noise cancellation headphones. Plus they don't use batteries, and like you said, they have awesome bass response. Also, since they block out noise so well, you don't have to turn the volume up as high.

Hopefully by using headphones that block outside noise means you won't have to turn up the music excessively in order to appreciate it. Using headphones that don't block outside noise means you have to crank up the volume to drown out the outside noise and that is actually worse for your hearing.

Well , i guess if u listen to music with full volume , that definitly would cause some damages to ur ears , but if u dont , then its absolutely safe to listen to music with ur headfones . secondly its sometimes good to get them into ur ears if u r trying to avoid other noises like some ppl u dont like to listen to, and sometimes its bad cuz u miss some valuable things someone is trying to tell u , especially things ur parents and best friends say.......

ear bud headphones- they damage my ears in the starting up, yet i have been given used to them after per week, and now i imagine they are wayy extra efficient than regular, because you dont ought to blast up the quantity because its so loud round you, and yea quite slightly they cancel out different noice, and makes the track your listening to clearer mine are from skullcandy <3

Well, i have one of those but i used them on the airplane only... because it delivers a very strong sound... i don't recommended if u only used them to hear music in a mp3, for example, but it is strongly recommended for DJ and people that record music, or stuff like that. So for normal used: NOT recommended. for special used: Recommended.

good luck on your choice
