Buy a Mac and stop worrying about viruses. If you already own a Mac then Limewire is perfectly safe 99.99999% of the time. I've never had an issue with it.

I will recommed you to get Shareaza from the link below, it's a P2P like Limeware but faster, no viruses or adware/malware, in a few words ... Better than a lot of P2P programs like eMule, Kazaa, etc
Once you get Shareaza, download the Free MP3 WMA Converter from the other link below, it can convert M4a and AAC files (iPod) to MP3s, and you can convert all the popular audio formats to M4a/AAC/MP3 so you can create your iTunes library from other audio files to play them on your iPod.
