I have an iPod mini that I haven't used in almost 2 years. Besides charging it to make sure it still works, is there anything I need to do before I sell it? Such as deauthorizing it or something like that?

I have burned music from Limewire before, but it seems to have changed somehow, maybe some new way to block me from burning cds. I can download music, but then from my Media Player it will not burn them. Does anyone know anything about Limewire?
If nothing else where is a good place to download music cheaply?
And it is not my cd burner, I have checked it.

This is due to upgrading stereo equipment and rationalising the rest. Note that the Technics is a single disc player, while the Goodmans plays from a 6-disc cartridge. Both work fine. The Goodmans has given sterling service for nearly 20 years!!

And is the one I get rid of worth anything second hand? Is the Goodmans some kind of collectors item?!

the Ipod dosen't work, it just says "use I tunes to restore". Itunes says they have to clear the Ipod to repair, I don't have any of my songs backed up. Is there a way to repair my Ipod without losing all of my songs?

When I try and sych my iPod I get an error that says "Ipod cannot be synched. The file directory is corrupted or unreadable." Is my iPod broken? I reinstalled the iPod to factory settings and that worked until I got about halfway through putting my songs back on there, then the error came up again. Has anyone else been having this same problem? If you have can help me out, please let me know.

I am going to buy a 2nd gen. (alluminum) nano and need an attractive case to go with it that isn't too bulky, doesn't collect dust, and doesn't take away from the sleek, slim design of the new nano. If you know of one please tell me.

Anyone ever heard a CD where at the end of every track was that 2 second silence? Those CDs where everything is supposed to be joined on and flowing. Anyone know how to remove that?

I've been playing guitar for about four months, and ever since I started playing I noticed my ears started to develop inner pain. I'm not a great guitar player, but I can jam once in a while. But ever since I started playing guitar I can't stand deep pain in my ears. Like if somebody is stabbing them, I put my finger in it and when I take it out it feels like somebody poked the drum with a pencil. it hurts so bad. Could it be ear infection or due to the guitar amplifier to loud? My ear pain doesn't go away, it's with me all day and night.

The amplifier is not even loud to begin with. So why in the heck do my ears hurt so much from it?

What measures do you take to protect your earring from damage that could be done to them from playing the guitar? All advice is deeply appreciated, thank you! Should I stop playing guitar or what would you do in my scenario.

Thanks in advance

first thing's first, please do not suggest going to the apple store or the store i bought it from. i live in jamaica and apple doesn't service down here and i got it from a relative in america. the cord got burnt minorly near the part that goes into the ipod, but not that badly to the point that it would be affected.my main concern is the wax that is stuck in it. now the two things at the side that you squeeze down to control the hooks won't move. a friend suggested i put it in hot water to loosen the bond between the wax and the cable, making sure that afterwards i dry it off properly. i was just about to do that, but then i thought is this a wise choice? i went to an apple distributor that also services apple merchandise and they sugggested i get a new one, but i just want to make ABSOLUTELY sure that there is no way of fixing this one and that i have no other option. any help would be GREATLY appreciated-especially by my mom's purse.^_^
