Now my question is, how can I get the songs from my ipod onto the new hard drive? And if I try to plug my ipod into the lap top will all of those songs erase??? I sure hope not! What do I do!??

Whatever you do, DO NOT sync your ipod with your computer! Or if you must because your ipod's batteries are low or something make sure that your iTunes isn't set to automatically sync.

Now, contact Apple and have them give you step by step instructions on how to get your songs back.

go to itunes and export them from your ipod and import them to your harddrive
