My guess is that the file system on the memory chip or card is corrupt. (FAT refers to the File Allocation Table) You could try formatting the drive from your computer. Plug the USB cable in, find the drive in Windows Explorer, right click and select Format (this will erase any music you have on the Lyra). Make VERY sure you have the correct drive before formatting. If that doesn't help, try getting the latest firmware from RCA's website and updating the Lyra.

for my area any mp3 participant is extra suitable than the bbw one because of the fact my pal and that i the two offered one from our shop and we the two had to convey them back because of the fact they'd turn off randomly and no they don't carry lots of something...
