The best way to clean scratched cds is clean water followed by a mild soap to get rid of any greasy hand stains, follow that up by a silicon cream based product that cleans and polishes, looks like a white cream, in my country we get a MIN cream that does the job of filling in scrartches brilliantly. Mild rubbing with a toothpaste also works, also remember to clean from centre to outeredge not in circles, but whatever you do make sure the disc is clean and dry before putting it into your player otherwise you will have a dirty pickup lens!
