I have an iPod mini that I haven't used in almost 2 years. Besides charging it to make sure it still works, is there anything I need to do before I sell it? Such as deauthorizing it or something like that?

Connect it to your computer and have iTunes reset all the factory defaults. This will clear the music and other data out and reset it to the default settings.

Other than that just test it out, make sure it holds a charge. The iPod mini is pretty basic so there is not much to test.
