My PS2 started acting strange, turn it on and there would be no sound/video, yet the screen would flicker. Then if I reboot the PS2 I would get it back to normal. Has been doing this for a month. Finally in the middle of a game, it froze up, reboot the PS2 and I have no video and no sound, the screen flickers when you turn it on, but I get nothing out of it. No matter how many times I reset it or turn it off, I get nothing. Any ideas on what is wrong with it? This is a V2 PS2 if I remember right. Now it isn't working at all. Someone mentioned the AV jack might be messed up, but it looks ok to me. Any help would be appreciated.

...I'm 16, if I sign up with a fake birthdate saying I'm 18 (just cuz I don't feel like getting my parents involved, and I don't need to be treated like a child) can it come back and bite me in the ***? What exactly will my parents need to do for me to sign up?

Do the cables come with the system or do i have to buy them separate?

Can i play the games and watch dvd on HD right out of the box or do i have to buy extra stuff?

repairing my ps2 seemed complicated and time consuming, so i just bought a new one. now i have a ps2 that could possibly be repaired, it seems a waste just to through it in the bin. where can i send it for recycling, or advertise to give it away for someone else to make use of?

I read in playstation.com that in the next firmware update (1.94) will add vibration support for the Ps3 controllers. Would I need a new controller to use this feature?

Or was the vibration already installed but not activated???

umm...
how come i cant update it?
i still have 1.93 and ppl say they got 1.94...
i didnt get any messages saying to update.
i tried to do it manually but it says i dont need to update.
i went to see which one i have i says i have 1.93.
help?
i've heard 2.0 will be coming out soon.
cuz of the psp remote play needs it for the lastest psp update.

I went onto warhawk earlier to play and i saw that the new patch i had read about was out.
"Great" i thought
so i said yes download but it said there was an error
i tried about 3 times and foolishly forgot to write down the error code
however i wanted to show a friend warhawk so i decided to use the local game option
i went on just now and im no longer prompted to download the update
it just logs on normaly
but when i look for games there are no official ones
and i tried deleting warhawk game data and reinstalling it but theres no game data in the game data utility folder
is this happening to everyone or did i just mess up?
