i plugged my mic into the controller then i pushed the button over for it to go on turned the volume all the way up but all i hear is like a clicking noise i play games with the mic but no one can hear me and i can only hear them through the tv i need help please

One thing these guys know. PS3 owns.....those who like to offend them need to stfu. You don't know jack either...you were probably the ones who overrated that crappy Halo 3. Only thing 360 has are shooterz....ZOMG GEAR...ZOMG BIOSHOCK...ZOMG HALO........uh oh you guys getting Mass Effect!!?!? oh noez guess what ps3 is getting!!!!!.....you guys gotta stop being nubs and buy a ps3. 120 million people owning a ps2 means something....i mean do you really think those people are going to buy a 360?...maybe some of them will and regret that piece of junk :D

its ps3 all the way because it doesen't break down after 14 months its online is free the graphics are immense it has blu-ray and sure it has little games but that is a problem that can be easily sorted out! it has been announce that 250 games are hitting the shelves for ps3 only by this febuary! so suck it 360!

People bash the PS3 so much that they forget 360 too had a mediocre launch and it took a year for the first really decent game to come out, i.e. Gears of War. 360 also had a lead start and didn't have any competition, unlike PS3 which is contending both 360 and Wii, at a higher price. If you look at the figures, PS3 sales have been almost identical to 360 in its first year. Now that PS3 costs only $399 the sales should pick up, while Halo 3 and 360 sales inevitably decline. Give PS3 some time, I think it will definitely make a comeback. I don't deny 360 has a great bunch of games this holiday, but next year belongs to PS3.

With all these awsome games coming out on PS3 like COD4, Assassins Creed, etc... It almost feels like you don't have to leave your house to have a life.

So much money and work goes into these games, Im talking millions of dollars went into creating COD4 and we can purchase them for little over $60. And have an almost realistic experience of battle.

I mean you can literarely be at home all day and still feel like you are having an exciting life with all these so realistic games which almost feels like you are a part of the game.

I also feel that gaming is going to get even better in the next few years because gaming is going to create a lot of profit for these companies and huge entertainment companies are going come to the scene and spend millions in creating even more realistic games like they do with movies.

Is this bad or good?

I brought my PS3 to a friend's house yesterday and he had an HD TV so we switched the settings to HD. When I brought it back to my place, no image or sound would show up on my normal TV, althought the PS3 seems to be functioning normally, so I assume that it's still set on HD settings, which won't show up on a normal TV. Is there a way to reset the settings? It's a bit hard if I have to do it on the menu, since I can't see it.
