the ps3 is plugged in right the games work just not the movies

have u tried putting it into another player that plays blue rays disks to see if it is working properly the actual disk? the disk might be the problem. if it has worked in other players then i should work in the PS3 if the ps3 actually plays them. i dont have a ps3 but i have had problems with a disk not having an actual program on it. where the movie was never downloaded on the disk. in this case u can call the company and ask them what to do.

Sony had locked a possibility to play Blu-ray movies on standard TVs, you'll have to get an HDTV in order to watch those movies.

maybe your plugs are disconnected and ther is no signal between the tv and the ps3, so check ur cables again, or call geek squad or sumthn
