i need help with my xbox360 mic?

i plugged my mic into the controller then i pushed the button over for it to go on turned the volume all the way up but all i hear is like a clicking noise i play games with the mic but no one can hear me and i can only hear them through the tv i need help please

wrong section buddy. can't really help you cause i know nothing about xbox ..not to be mean but its true. i wish i could help you though
