I just bought a $50 game, and my ps2 scratches it. It had no scratches, and now it has a few minor ones and freezes alot...when on the final loading screen, i hear it like beating against the ps2 like a scratch noise. what can i do

Sounds like your PS2 is broken. If possible, return it to the store for an exchange.

Otherwise, I'd say get it fixed, but you'll probably spend more time and money doing that, than if you just go and buy a new one from the store.

That's the problem with the mechanic part of DVD-ROM. Replace them - PS2 parts are very cheap now. And don't play any games before fixing - it'll continue to scratch your DVDs.

The optical drive has a problem - don't put any more discs in it until you've had an expert look at it.

i reccomend u buy a new ps2 or call the manufacturer they mite have a waranty on it
