I'm thinking about buying either a PS3 or X-box 360, now if price doesn't matter what will be a better buy for graphics, online gameplay, and just overall performance?

Hello!
Money is tight these days...and all i ever wanetd to do was buy my some what he wanted most.
He has been doing well in school..we tried to get him a ps2 last year..but couldnt even afford that.
ebay.this ebay that, cant really rely on just ONE source, and wanted to buy a ps3 for my son, and his borthday in novmber 6.
All those free ps3 offers are just lies, so i dont both with filling out hours of offers and then waste money and time.
I'm looking for alot of help..so if you could..that would be great!

I have elder scroll 4: Oblivion for ps3 and I want to know can you use six axis in the game. (I have ps3 six axis controller0 If so, tell me how to use it. Can you shake the controller to do something (Example- Attack, defend, heal) If so, how could I configure this to do this on my game. Please help. Thanks!

Alright,
i already own a xbox360 and i am thinking to get a playstation 3 and i have 2 questions, please

Please note :
'i am NOT going to see movies/listening music with the console' so i dunt thing the blue ray would be anything useful for me.

All i will be using it for will be playing games.

my first question is : Since there are many many Playstation 2 games out there, so it is very important for me, that the version of Playstation 3 i get BE compatible with all playstation 2 games.
So based on my expectation, what should i pay attention to when i am looking for a Playstation 3 ?

And my second question :
- I have hooked up my xbox360 to a normal flat 17'' monitor which only has VGA ( normal 15 pol monitor port that you use for your pc) and i am happy with it. Is it also possible to hook up Playstation 3 to such monitor? ( a monitor with normal 15 pol port that you use for your pc )

how come i cant update it?
i still have 1.53 and ppl say they got 1.54...
i didnt get any messages saying to update.
i tried to do it manually but it says i dont need to update.
i went to see which one i have i says i have 1.53.

I went to gamestop at my local mall and the guy said PS3 is better than 360 as I always thought, so I got a deal on ebay (only 16, work pays minimum wage lol) and then when I went to another local gamestop the people working there told me PS3 is basically **** and only good if you have a 8000 dollar HDTV and that there are no good games for it, now or in the future and that the only good thing for it is bluray... but they did say some bullshit too like the new 40GB model being 250 when I know its 400 bucks... also this dude said he races his cars... I wanted to say to him "You have more than one car and you work at gamestop? bullshit!" But I controlled my impulse... well after reading my novel what say yee? ;)

i bought the Xbox 360, and now i'm starting to regret it, with all the cool features the ps3 has like built in wi-fi, blu-ray, a web browser, and rechargeable controllers...accessories you have to buy separately with the 360...the ps3 def seemed like a better buy...esp when you hear all this talk about it's cell processor ( with its 8 or so cores ) i hear that performance wise it drawfs the 360...is this really true ? or just all assumptions ? no fanboys

ok i bought a power converter to convert my pal ps3 220v to 110v...it turned on for a while but it will turn oiff again after few seconds...
does anybody know how can i fix it

I own a PS2, I play it from 1-7 hours a day. Generally at least 2. I have only owned Playstation, Playstation 2, NES, SNES. My favorite system, so far, is PS2. I am not biased though! I will buy whatever system I am told to buy the most.
