will the ps3 40gig go down in price before new years? its at 399now?

No way, the 40GB PS3 is coming out tommorrow. Sony released the 40GB PS3 as a cheaper option to the PS3 and the PS3's are cheap enough if you ask me. I don't expect another price drop on any PS3 in at least another year.

Most people don't even realize that a decent stand alone Blu-Ray Player costs about $500 for a cheaper model, and the PS3 has Blu-Ray, plus more at a cheaper price. The PS3 is a bargain, even though the price may seem high.

Not likely since it's not coming out until Nov. 2, and I doubt it will take a price drop in 2 months.
