You're a smart man. Of course the PS3 is going to win the war. It's built for the future. It doesn't have the ring of death. It's not full of Wii-crap games. It's the trend setter. The PS3 was black first, and then the MS came out with the Elite which just so happens to be black. The PS3 had HDMI first, so the Elite has to have HDMI. The PS3 came out with 20 and 60 gb, and because the 360 premium is only 20, MS had to release the Elite with the 120 gb.

What makes you think it's "guaranteed to win the war"?

I have all 3 systems, so far I have NO games for the PS3, cause there just isnt anything on the system that interests me. That is really what sells systems, great games, and in my mind, PS3 has very few to none. The only reason for me to own the PS3 right now is to watch HD movies, and that is all I use it for, at the moment.

On the other hand, I enjoy using my XBOX 360 on a regular basis.

By the way, I have had the 360 for over a year now and I have had no problems with it.

Raziel - How dare you call me a hipocrite. I bought the PS3 when I bought it, to use it as a cheap Blu-ray player. As a inexpensive Blu-ray player it has fulfilled it's need. But, the fact of the matter is, that the games on PS3, save a few, stink. The only good games on the console, like Oblivion, were already on the 360 long before they came to the PS3. I also bought the PS3 for the eventual release of Final Fantasy 13, a game I will most definitely buy when it comes out. But I stand by my earlier statement, that right now, the pickings are extremely slim on the PS3, and the XBOX360 has a far superior selection of games to play. So instead of making personal attacks because someone likes something different than you, why not try and give a coherent arguement as to why you think the way you do. So get a life.

I buy what I like, I'm not pathetically supporting one system over the other, unable to see that eventually all 3 systems will have worthwhile games.

THis ps3 is new then the 360 so the game have not gotten to the full power of the ps3. ps3 games are starting to pass 360 game. The new COD4 is going to be the game to get this holiday and its better on ps3. the ps3 has 18 players online and 360 has 16 player online. both the ps3 and 360 will support 4 players online at a time on 1 system. but for the ps3 all this is free and the 360 cost $50 a year.

the ps3 is a better deal. ok 20gb 360 vs 40gb ps3.

ps3 $400
40gb (easy to change to bigger and cheap then 360)
wireless
bluray
better looking game
free online
More varity of game
all equal to $400

360 $350
20gb
HD dvd = $200
wireless= $100
online aka live $50 a year
mainly shooter and losing all exculsive because most of the devolopers are going to EA(which is on both) or starting there own company .

By all means:
1). It doesn't have breakdowns issues
2). Very good technical support
3). A lot of space for developers to work on. Nowadays PS3 exclusives don't take full advantage on PS3 capabilities - so much fun and discoveries in the future.
4). Can be used not only for gaming, but for other OS, helping sick people (Folding Home), great media features.
5). Sony invested a lot of money in it - bright marketing future.
6). A lot of games coming.
7). It's just a great fun!

ROFL @ Rushmore
If you say games sell the system and claim the PS3 has no games, then why the hell do you have one? You, sir, are a hypocrite.

Plus the PS3 has better exclusives coming, so we all know why you really got it.

Don't listen to the 360 fanboy's. There are no such plans for new 360's beyond the elite.

PS3 is the best choice, especially for the future. You need to buy and play Ratchet & Clank. Once you see and play that game you will immediately realize you made the right decision.

Welcome to the family !

What do you think?

I don't have either, but know it won't do you much good to have all that power unless you have an HD screen to see it on.

And for the comment referring to the XBOX breaking, the PS3 hasn't been out long enough to see this happen. It all has to do with the BGA's solder cracking because of heat. The PS3 has a LOT of power in it, making it generate heat of its own. Give it another year before you brag about its reliability. Anything can last a year.
