how come i cant update it?
i still have 1.53 and ppl say they got 1.54...
i didnt get any messages saying to update.
i tried to do it manually but it says i dont need to update.
i went to see which one i have i says i have 1.53.
help?

and 1.60?
im confused as hell.
how does this work?
do the numbers go up or down?
i've heard 2.0 will be coming out soon.
cuz of the psp remote play needs it for the lastest psp update.

dude! youre sssssoooooooo late on the updates! firmwares now at 1.93 haha! get the user's manual and read the directions there should be a website there too so you know where to get your updates....

If you can't update via internet (that's really strange), just download update from corresponding with your PS3 region source (PAL PS3 update - from PAL website, NTSC U/C - from US website, NTSC J - from japanese). Than transfer it to PSP, flash stick, memory card and update it from there. I didn't try to burn update to CD and insert that CD to PS3 and update from there, but (my guess) it might work too.
