i want to buy something with the money i got for my birthday... i don't know which one to buy.. either both psp and ps2 or ONLY ps3... im leaning towards ps3 because of FFXII and the probablility that a remake of FFVII might come out.. as you've noticed im a HUGE final fantasy freak and im really not sure of what to buy cuz I've also always wanted to play Crisis Core on the psp so ireally dont know... help

PS3 definetly. Since the PS3 has backward compatibility it supports PS2 games and so you can have both in one device. Plus the PS3 has more advanced hardware than both combined and pretty soon there will be games even bigger and better that FF series whereas PS2 is almost finished. So go for the PS3. Its more than worth your money.

PS3 for sure. Right now 60GB is still available - it has a best compatibility wit PS2 games due to some PS2 hardware built into it (two chips from PS2). You buy 60GB - you'll get PS3 and PS2 in one box. Hurry up, 60GB is on sale while stocks last, Sony had stopped to manufacture them due to costs reduction. 80GB run PS2 games on software (only one PS2 chip left), so less PS2 games supported only ~80%. 40GB version doesn't have backwards compatibility with PS2 games at all (it has neither of those chips). Final Fantasy XIII is coming in 2008, exact date is TBA.

Buy a ps3 and save up later to buy a psp or ps2
