I read in playstation.com that in the next firmware update (1.94) will add vibration support for the Ps3 controllers. Would I need a new controller to use this feature?

Or was the vibration already installed but not activated???

Yes, rumble function is back, you'll need a Dualshock 3 controller to enjoy it. It'll come out in this November in Japan, the rest of the world have to wait till the beginning of the next year.

You will need a new controller - not available yet - to use rumble.

Even then, the game must support rumble as well. Several games have been updated for this already.

The controller won't be available in the US until April 2008.

Enjoy waiting.

Umm, what are you talking about? There is no 1.94 update yet. The latest is 1.93. You say it is located on the official playstation site then give prove of a link or something cause I only found 1.93 as the most recent one.

SYSTEM UPDATE 1.93:
