My brother just brought his PS3 over and we tryed hooking it up to play it on my t.v. My t.v. isn't HD but, his is. Could that be the problem? Nothing comes up on the t.v. screen when we try to turn it on. Can someone help please

Hi i have just got the new ps3 and im having trouble updating it and connecting to the internet.
It says i have to connect using the ethernet connection but my computer connets to the internet via usb i put the usb port into the playstation and it didnt work.

im trying to get it on wirellsly every fink goes ok it tackes my ip and says succeeded but the internet connection says faild and at the bottom it says an error occurred during communication whith the server this is a dns error (80710102) how do i fixe it if any one can help i would be very very great full im realy geting anoyd whith it some one help me pleas

Yesterday i was cleaning and had my PS3 on my bed, and it slid off at some point. The only damage i see is my cover that cover's the sd memory stick slot came off. Could this have caused damage internally in the system?

what is the game data utility for? I know that saved data is the actual save that you make on the game, but the gama data utility is only saved once ( i think it did it the first time i popped the game in the playstation) what is the game data utility and what would happen if i deleted it, though im not planning on doing that...just curious, thanks!
