Well, some people are just anti-SONY, just like some are anti-Microsoft. It's all a matter of taste I guess. I root for the 360, but i'd love a PS3. I think one thing that many people have a problem with is the price tag.
Sony had always kept the price down so that just about anyone could get one of their systems. With the PS3, the price was so high for even the basic system that I think alot of people felt jipped in that something from a company of the people was outside what most people could afford.

I'm not against it, per se. But I would never buy it. First of all, the graphics are not that much better than what the XBOX 360 already offers. HD is HD, and they both have it. And second, the PS3 is extremely overpriced. I believe it is still around 500 to 600 dollars - for a game system! Not to mention most new games for it are around 60 to 70 dollars.

avatarofyourdreams GAVE GOOD ADVICE AND BAD SIMULTANEOUSLY:
The answer to your question my friend is right in your answer...
People play video games and waste their lives instead of learning such things as Grammer...
Don't waste your life in front of your TV playing a game that is taking the place of your real life...
No matter how many people you play with online you do not have a social life unless you actually get more then 2 people together in real life...
YET SPELLED GRAMMAR WRONG.
--Yes, we should spend time doing advantageous things but life cannot be all work and no play. Even the computer is a medium for entertainment, but I try to make good use of time. I have cut way, way back on gaming, YouTube, etc. and I'm back in school.

It was hyped alot over the past 3 years and it didnt really live up to that hype. Although it is still a great system, everyone thought it would be better.

Because they are upset that they didn't "get the best"... Instead of liking and enjoying what they have they have to slam what other people have because it's not like theirs and it's a slap in the face if you choose something you like and that something is different from what they like...

its not being 'against the system', its the 'price of the system' that people hate.
