Backwards compatibility, luckily for me My PS3 has both. The 40GB will have wifi, but no backwards compatibility. The 60 and 80GB both have backward compatibility and wifi. (I got a 60GB in February)

That's the question of personal likings. Personally, I rarely use backwards compatibility feature, but some of my friends still enjoy their big PS2 collections, PS2 games are still coming out. I'm looking into the future for more smart and good-looking games. Otherwise I would buy another PS2. I gave mine as a present to my friend a long time ago.

I'd rather have backwards compatibility, but just like ShadowFyre, my PS3 has both, I have the 60GB PS3. I'm disappointed that the 40GB and 80GB PS3 won't be as backwards compatible because I was going to buy one.

Backwards compatability, wireless is useless if you don't have a wifi connection. My psp with wifi is different because I can take it on the road with me and use the wifi in coffee shops and hotels you can't do that with the PS3
