OK..here is a question, just so that I can understand it.

lets say i have a 100 mm lens. As far as I understand things, if I attached this lens to say a canon rebel xti camera which has a sensor smaller than the size of a 35mm camera, it would produce a much different result if I place the same lens on say a canon 5d full size 35mm size equivalent sensor.

So if the smaller chip in the rebel xta results in a 1.6 (converstion, as I have read)

my 100 mm lens now becomes a 160mm on the rebel xti,

BUT wouls still act as a 100 mm on the full sized chip in the
canon 5d??

so my lens focal lenght depends on the size of the sensor???

Sony's website shows that the F717 compatibility tops out at 2gb
http://esupport.sony.com/EN/info/mspro-camera.html

But I see several places selling 4gb MS Pro/Pro Duo sticks and listing the F717 as a compatible model.

ok. I have read reviews and looked at answers here. There seems to be the opinion that both are about equal. Are nikon lenses typically better? Apparently not all nikon AF lenses are compatible. Has anyone actually tested both cameras ??

Alphonse Bedoya said in Treasure of Sierra Madre I don't need to show you no stinkin' badges. Same holds true for pixels at times in that a simple phone camera can captue something ok at 1.3 pixels. Question: I took photo of daughter on camera phone and I have it displayed everytime I open up phone. If I send this photo to my e-mail address so I have it on computer, can I stil have it on camera phone. Is there a way to have same photo in both placed?

I was at a birthday party with coworkers and people I used to work with. I asked someone I used to work with to take a picture for me. She dropped my camera and broke it. It was $200, and is about 7 months old. I have a warrenty on it, I'm going to take it in and see if it's fixable... she said she takes full responsibilty. I feel she wouldn't have broken it if I hadn't asked her to take my picture in the first place, but I am still extemely angry. So... who pays for the repairs or replacement?

No matter what type of batteries I put in it, it eats them. The second it turns on the lens comes out and it shuts off. I have tried Energizer and nice companies instead of cheap ones and they all do the same thing. I haven't tried the rechargeable batteries yet but if it is doing it to all my other batteries won't it do it to the rechargeable ones also?

I read about Lithium and stuff like that but I honestly don't understand what that means so can someone please explain to me what to do? Thanks you guys. <3
