How to maintain my digital camera?

Well, I have just bought a new camera and was wondering how I could give it a good treatment... please give me some tips to give it a nice stay at my place !!!

Don't drop it. Get a nice lens cleaning kit from Best buy with the brushes, rags, solution, and qtips.. That will ensure your lens will always be clean. Get a nice case for it. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures by leaving it in your car during heat or freezing weather. This can mess with the lenses and photo quality. Also, get yourself a good set of NiMh rechargable batteries, since they last much longer than alkalines.
