hi i have an HP photosmart camera & i dropped it on the hardwood floor. the lens is like jammed in the camera. its my parents camera. should i send it in to get it fixed? or what becuase i would like to fix it with out them knowing....PLEASE!

I think it would be best to let them know. Just explain that it was an accident, you're very sorry, and you will pay to fix it. Then let them decide what to do. Trust me, if you act sorry enough, they will go easy on you.

it's best to tell the parents what happened and willing to get the camera fixed.

what would your answer be if they start asking to use the camera while the camera is being fixed what then which in a would have to confess on what had happened to their camera. they would definitely be mad if you had done something behind their back, but if you had gone forward and told them what had happened they would most likely be much more forgiving.

I sent my camera to be fixed one time and it took six months while it was returned to the factory in Japan.

You'd better just take responsibility and own up to what happened and offer to fix it.

If you get caught in a lie... it'll only make things worse than they already are.
