Hi, thanks for looking at my question. I installed the above program and everything was working fine. I have a 53-minute video that I shot and have edited. I have 2 audio tracks and 2 video tracks. My first DVD I burned plays "choppy" whenever the camera pans left, right, up, or down. Yet, on the computer, the pans are as smooth as the original video in the mini DV camcorder. Can this be fixed? Also, everytime I try to burn another DVD, it only burns the first 15 minutes or so. I have a 2.8 Ghz processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 320 GB hard drive. Please help!

Im doing a uni project that involves making a five minute film, and editing it. The problem is I cannot transfer the video from the camera to the laptop so i can edit it. I have tried using the USB connector thing, but it just wont detect the camera. I have asked several people I know, and I was just wondering if you lovely people could help me. Thanks

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC36. It shoots to MiniDV tapes and i love it. The only problem is the program it came with to transfer video to my pc maxes out at a small resolution (think standard web video clip size). My friend has the same camera and makes amazing videos that have full screen resolution (clear picture, not blown up), He uses a Mac and I'm not sure which program but there definitely has to be a program for my PC that will let me get my footage off my cam without losing any quality. Anyone know of any programs (preferably cheap but anything helps!)?

Hello, I'm looking for a camera to take youtube videos, but it seems there have been allot of upgrades to cameras since the last time I bought one. Obviously I would like a camera that can upload to my pc easily, but pretty good quality is what I'm looking for, unlike lagging web cams. I would prefer a camcorder to do this and also to make home videos and high res pictures. My price range is around $400.00. Thank You

What is the procedure when finished editing in premier and want to create a menu in encore.

Do I render out in premier an AVI file ? and import this into encore ? Is this the best way ?

I have this firewrire cable that looks kind'a like this:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f7/FireWire_cables.jpg/200px-FireWire_cables.jpg
(please click the link)
As i looked through my laptop, i found out that the plug on the right (from the picture) would fit here.
I looked through my videocam and found out that the DV plug would also need the one the right. Therefore, the plug on the left, from the picture, has nowhere to go.

How the would I use the cable if my vidcam and my laptop would both need the right plug from the picture. I can't find where I would put the one on the left.

**I need to upload a video from my DV, help! **

Hopefully that is the right name a video recorder.
Well i have a few questions about them and they should seem easy.

Is the only difference between video recorder is how good the picture will be and size? if not what is the difference between each one?

Does it depend on what cd i insert is the length it can go on for?
example i can record me or someone for an hour if the cd can hold it?

Is it very easy to put it onto your computer edit it and words and upload it to youtube?
