Try Argos clearance deals or Price runner, expect to pay £120 -£170 for a mini DV.
E.G - JVC GR-D340E

I wouldn't touch any that use SD or MMC cards, the quality when displayed on a TV is ... let say not good. I have a MUSTEK DV3000 and 1GB card. It only records 30 min of absolute rubbish quality - can't give it away.

I hope this helps, good luck!

nicely i do no longer understand how stable the widely used is yet yet I only have been given my guy a Jazz Video Camcorder at Walmart on sale plus tax for extra or less $32. It uploads as an AVI and has a outfitted in mic and speaker plus a a million.5 inch preview show screen and a come out USB. I only bought it right this moment.

I'd go with the Mustek DV 12M, it's inexpensive and tiny , If you want it I saw it on sale at the Ritz Camera site, they also got some promos at http://www.prioritycodes.com/Electronics/RitzCamera.com-Priority-Codes/index.html for a discount
