I visited Dubai this time last year and bought a casio camera. Not the same make but I got it for approximately 3/4 of the price in the UK.

I have never had any problems with it, though i suggest you buy the rechargeable batteries and charger in your home country otherwise you will constantly require an adaptor.

I recommend checking out the shops within the bazaars for the best bargains.

Price depends on the model. Mine is Fuji Finepix E510 which I got for 700 AED.
